LAS CRUCES – Award winning singer-songwriter, musician Randy Granger will be performing at a house-concert to raise funds for Southern New Mexico Pride.
The concert, which includes libations and prizes, will be held at a private residence in Las Cruces on June 6th, 7-10 p.m. Suggested donation is $20. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own folding chairs or blankets. No alcoholic beverages will be provided.
Randy Granger is a singer-songwriter, composer, recording artist and performing musician. His unique “Southwest Americana” style blends elements of Native American, Folk and world music. He has earned recognition for his songwriting, flute playing, composing, production and poetry from the New Mexico Music Industry Awards, the Native American Music Awards and the Great American Song Awards. His CD A Place Called Peace received a “Lifestyle Award” nomination for “Best Native American Album” from the New Age broadcasting industry. NPR’s All Things Considered profiled Randy in 2007 for his music on the ethereal Hang drum.

Volunteers and vendors are now being accepted for the celebration, “40 Years After Stonewall: Partners In Pride,” on Saturday, June 27, from 10 a.m. -3 p.m. at Pioneer Women’s Park.
